Well lemme see I'm the 2nd poster and doing this from my G1. I'm Rob from the uk. 22yr old and I'll probably start doing some apps for G1 soon or even start playing with the Android OS for pc \o/

I didn't win the first Android Bounty but released the first Android torrent app BarTor. I'm also the developer of the Android and Me News Widget and and.roid.es (Spanish Android site) News Widget. Hey all! I'm Eric, one of the writers here at Android And Me. I'm a graphic designer during the day and I'm a complete gadget nerd (as well as many other types of nerd). Fort Worth TX, my self professed Phone Whoring ways have ended when I bought my G1. Up until then I've owned close to 10 phones in 2008. Most of them hacked, modded, unlocked, etc.
I cope with ADHD the best I can without meds. Am a struggling amateur web developer/designer since 1999.
Used to be a pocket-rocket street racer, drag racer, autocrosser in my '92 SE-R, which I sold when we had our first child who is 22 months old. Baby#2 is on her way.

Hi all,
Just a few words about me - I'm an long time ex-VB dev who doesn't have the heart to code anymore but I do have the heart to keep up with the tech.
I've various gadgets but the most interesting is the G1 / Android platform at the minute. I must say that it's not only the platform that is interesting but the community & support for this OS is outstanding. I'm not an iPhone hater; after all I have an iPod touch and love it as well; but the open attitude and google development should see this early adopter OS come into it's own very, very shortly.
Long may it continue.
